GENERAL PURPOSE HALL

The hall is centrally located in relation to the other functions of the school, offering spatial separation between the Junior and Senior courtyards and easily accessible from the administration block. The primary entrance foyer is accessed from the main circulation axis of the school, with secondary access for learners from the Senior Courtyard and public access from the main entrance.
The structure of the hall is concrete columns, steel girder truss roof construction and brick infill. Wall plate height is set at approximately 5 meters with the ridge level at approximately 8 meters high. The stage has a formal proscenium allowing for a stage curtain with a suspended timber floor for dancing and performances.
The hall and surrounding functions are designed to be closed off after hours enabling use by the public and surrounding community.
